P90X Phase 2: Week 5, Day 1 Complete
Well, the recovery week kind of sucked. I was sick. I didn’t complete all the workouts. But, I rested, so I guess that’s a recovery.
Today I ran for the first time in several weeks. I picked up with Week 3 of Couch to 5K. It felt really good to run, especially since it’s getting cold outside. Here’s what it looked like:
Walk 5 minutes
Run 90 seconds
Walk 90 seconds
Run 3 minutes
Walk 3 minutes
Run 90 seconds
Walk 90 seconds
Run 3 minutes
Walk 5 minutes.
Later this afternoon, I did Ab Ripper X, and then completed Chest, Shoulders and Triceps. This workout kills me. I have to do many of the pushups on my knees. Also, my dvd is messed up and I’m afraid it may not work much longer. Luckily I have it almost memorized…
I’ve decided I will do the following for phase 2:
- Keep better count of my calories.
- Add cardio by running 3 times a week (weight days).
