After the yucky week I had, I decided to go ahead and have some wine Friday night. But, you know what, I had 2 glasses and didn’t even really enjoy it. I also had a terrible headache Saturday morning. I can’t believe I would get a hangover from 2 glasses of wine. Anyway, this showed me that perhaps I’m over the wine thing…

I ate pretty bad on Friday and Saturday. Today I’m back on track. However, we are celebrating my son’s birthday today and I’m making a cake. I’ve already recorded the calories for the slice of cake I will have, so I’m feeling okay about it.

Workout wise, I did okay the past few days. Here’s what it looked like:

Friday:

Run (Week 5 Day 1 of C25K) (on treadmill… better than nothing)

- Walk 5 minutes

- Run 5 minutes

- Walk 3 minutes

- Run 5 minutes

- Walk 3 minutes

- Run 5 minutes

- Walk 5 minutes.

It was about 2.5 miles. I wonder if I could do this well outside?

Saturday:

- Took the boy for a walk. I’m counting this because I got a little sweaty and out of breath.

- Did Baron Baptiste’s “Journey into Power Volume 1″ which I got from Netflix. Eh, it was typical Baron. “Make your big toe glow.” What the hell does that even mean?

Sunday:

- Woke up at 3 in anticipation of all the things I want to get done today.

- Did Jari Love’s “Get Ripped to the Core”. Haven’t done this one in years. It was okay. I like the compound exercises.

- Need to do abs still. I hope to add them on later.

- I also would really like to try and run outside. We’ll see how the family cooperates, and if time allows with the chores and birthday things ahead…

I am totally obsessed with fitness infomercia ls. I watched the new P90X one this morning and I’m totally psyched to start it again. I think I will try for October 1. I’m also totally obsessed with Barry’s Boot Camp. Why do I let them suck me in? I know P90X works because I’ve done it before, but everything I know about these other ones tells me theyre not as good.. but I still want them. Luckily, I don’t have the money;-)

So today is a fresh start. Off to be supermom…
